Are you equipped to lead with clarity while navigating complexity?
Complexity is redefining what it means to lead.
This decade has seen crises intersect, change accelerate, and pressure mount. Organizations are navigating critical transitions that are shaping the future of work and society — geopolitical instability, AI disruption, sustainability transformation, clash between old and new ways of working — all while the terrain keeps shifting beneath their feet.
Most organisations are responding the way they always have: rigid restructurings, linear roadmaps, and top-down mandates that confuse and disengage already fatigued teams. Meanwhile, leaders are expected to provide clarity and direction precisely when the path forward is most uncertain — leaving many feeling challenged, overwhelmed, and at times, helpless.
How might we create the conditions for our leaders, teams, and organisations to lead impactfully while navigating complexity?
COPE.Consulting is a Swiss-based, remote-first transformation practice that exists to help address this key challenge.
I am Veronique Vallieres, a former transformation executive at Fortune 500 companies and former partner at a boutique future-of-work consultancy. I partner with leaders, teams, and communities — from corporations to academic institutions — to build the capabilities, adopt the practices, and create the conditions they need to lead impactfully, while navigating the collective transitions that are shaping this decade.
Your challenges, addressed together
“We don’t have time for the work that matters”
By identifying and reducing organisational waste — low-value processes, unclear decision-making structures, unintentional meetings — teams free up capacity to do their best work.
“Our priorities change so often that nothing moves”
By adopting more adaptive and iterative approaches to setting strategy, teams gain the clarity to decide, the autonomy to act, and the agility to adapt.
“Our people are not on board & morale is low”
By embedding continuous feedback loops into the work, teams build the shared trust and accountability required to engage fully and perform at their best.
“We need to change, but nothing sticks”
By letting go of one-off restructurings and embracing continuous, participatory approaches to change, leaders create the conditions for teams to build change that lasts.
“Our ways of working no longer fit reality”
By moving away from ways of working and leading that are built for predictability and linearity, we can design organisations that are better suited to navigate complexity — in more adaptive, human, and impactful ways.
The embedded transformation approach
My proposed transformation approach alternates between two key rhythms.
- First, we introduce a small set of targeted practices through immersive experiences.
- Then, we apply those “in the work” and in your context.
In a matter of weeks, these create the conditions for building the capabilities you need to make meaningful shifts in how you work, lead, decide, collaborate, and relate.
How we work together
Embedded Transformation
As Chief Transformation Officer (CTrO)
-
For organisations navigating complex, multi-dimensional transformation who need senior leadership — not just external support. As your Fractional CTrO, I step into your leadership team on a part-time basis to co-create your transformation journey. I bring the corporate experience, organisational design expertise, and progressive practices that will deliver measurable outcomes, at a fraction of the cost and commitment of a full-time hire.
Typical engagement: 6-18 months | 2-3 days/week
Best for: Mid-to-large organizations managing simultaneous transitions — AI adoption, sustainability transformation, organizational redesign — who need experienced transformation leadership.
Embedded Transformation
As Consulting Partner
-
For leaders who need an experienced transformation partner embedded in their team — not a consultant who delivers a report and disappears. I work alongside you and your team, facilitating key sessions, embedding adaptive practices, and building leadership capabilities that make change stick. This is hands-on, in-the-work partnership: I’m present for the hard conversations, the pivotal decisions, and the moments where direction needs to be found together.
Best for: Leadership teams navigating a specific transition — cultural evolution, new ways of working, sustainability integration — who need experienced support without a full-time executive commitment.
Transformation Workshops
Building capabilities through immersive experiences
-
Your dedicated space and time — away from the noise of daily operations — to step back, rebuild shared understanding of your rapidly changing context, and develop the collective capabilities your team needs to lead through complexity.
More than a one-off offsite: each workshop is designed around your specific challenges, with practices your team can apply immediately.
Formats: Half-day to multi-day | In-person, remote, or hybrid
Meeting Rhythm Facilitation
Sustaining capabilities through integration “in the work”
-
The real test of any workshop is what happens the following Monday. I help your team integrate new practices directly into your existing meeting rhythm — facilitating key sessions, embedding new ways of deciding, collaborating, and adapting until they become second nature.
Typically follows a workshop engagement | Ongoing or time-bound
Leadership Advisory
Personalised support to integrate key shifts
-
For leaders who need a trusted thought partner. This is your dedicated space to reflect on the challenges that matter most, develop the personal capabilities that enable your team to grow, and identify the leverage points where your leadership can make the greatest difference.
Typically alongside team engagements | Ongoing or time-bound | Fully confidential
Leadership Development Programs
Building collective capabilities at scale
- Sometimes, building the collective capabilities of multiple leaders across your organisation suits the more intensive, scaled approach you have in mind.
-
From a targeted virtual learning series to a multi-day leadership bootcamp, every programme is co-designed with you and built around the specific capabilities, practices, and shifts leaders need to navigate what’s ahead.
Formats: Virtual to in-person | Team to organisation-wide | English, German, or French
Why it works
Small shifts lead to real-time impact
Away from the big, hairy transformation efforts that promise results years down the road, we start with your immediate challenges and help you make shifts that matter right now.
Change happens “in the work”
It’s not about roadmaps in PowerPoint; I’m right there with you and your team, facilitating the integration of key practices and capabilities designed to address the biggest pain points you’re facing.
Capabilities built & sustained at team level
From experience, real change often happens at team, departmental or divisional level. That’s why I engage with full teams long enough to build the desired capabilities that will stick and that will lead to meaningful, sustained impact.
Swiss-based, remote-first, in three languages
Key moments of our engagement can take place in person, remotely, or on a hybrid basis to best suit your context. Whether your primary business language is English, French, or German, I facilitate our exchanges in the language that feels most natural to your team.
Small & nimble to address big needs
Sometimes, building collective capabilities across multiple teams in your organisation suits a more intensive, scaled approach. In such contexts, I engage with a network of like-minded practitioners who bring additional capacity and complementary expertise to best serve your specific needs.
Designed for resilience, not dependency
Real change takes time. My role is to work alongside you as your reliable partner while your team builds the capacity and capability to sustain the work on their own; that’s what designing for resilience is all about.
Not sure where to start?
By starting.
When we operate in complexity, knowing where to start is rarely obvious — especially when the ground keeps shifting beneath your feet.
The best place to start is just that: start.
But with a twist: be flexible about the “content” of what will emerge, but have a clear “container” to channel what will emerge.
An ideal framework for this is the Pulse Check workshop.
What it takes
- Three uninterrupted hours
- Your leadership team’s undivided attention
- No pre-work, no long preparatory briefings
What you leave the room with
-
In just three hours, you gain:
- A real-time map of your team’s health
- Collective clarity on the 1–3 tensions to address next & targeted practices to address them
- A renewed sense of direction and shared agency
Sounds like the right place to start for you and your team?

Meet Vero
“The only constant in my life has been a relentless drive to challenge status quo in order to make space for the meaningful change that wants to emerge.”
About Vero
Hey there! I’m Vero, I’m a French-Canadian based in Switzerland, and I’ve walked a few miles in your shoes.
I spent over a decade as a global transformation executive inside two of the world’s most complex organizations — ABB and Siemens. I’ve led change initiatives across 60+ countries, built a global team from the ground up, and shaped how Fortune 500 leadership communicates and implements its most critical transitions — from Future of Work to Energy Transition to Diversity & Inclusion.
Then, as a transformation partner at The Ready, one of the world’s most progressive future-of-work consultancies, I worked alongside leaders across industries and geographies to help them approach change in more progressive, human ways: from environmental non-profit (UK) to banking (France), media (Germany) to regenerative agriculture (Norway), renewable energy (US) to pharmaceutical (Ireland). In parallel, I completed various degrees in systems change, systems thinking, and sustainability transformation — deepening the systems lens I bring to every engagement
More than any methodology or framework, what those 15 years gave me is an unfiltered view of why transformation efforts fail, as well as a conviction for the conditions that can lead to meaningful, sustained impact.
I’ve seen this pattern repeat itself across sectors, geographies, and organizational sizes, and I founded this transformation practice to equip my generation of leaders with the capabilities they need to meet this moment.
That’s what I do, that’s what I love, and that’s what brought me here.
If you’re a leader navigating a critical transition and you’re ready for a different kind of conversation — I’d love to hear what’s brought you here.

Conducting Retrospectives
When things feel stuck, uncertain, or simply ready for a shift, many leaders turn to tools, surveys, or strategies. But sometimes, the most powerful move is also the simplest: creating space to listen, reflect, and learn – as a team.
Resilient Strategy Approaches
In a fast-changing, unpredictable world, strategy still matters – but how we set it must evolve.
Intentional Meeting Rhythm
Meetings are where strategy takes shape – and yet, for many teams, they remain the biggest source of frustration and wasted time. Without structure and intention, meetings easily drain energy and slow work down. But designed differently, they can become the very rhythm that keeps strategy alive.
