COPE supports you with integrating into your everyday the approaches & practices typically adopted by high-impact, purpose-driven teams that matter most in your context.

Adopting these practices can help you build these key capabilities that can unlock key shifts for you and your teams:

Sharpen your awareness of complexity

To better navigate uncertainty and stay relevant in a rapidly-changing environment

Apply a systemic view to your current context

To better sense which levers to pull to lead to impactful organisational & cultural shifts

Approach strategy with an experimental mindset

To implement strategies in adaptive, iterative ways, and better course-correct in the face of disruptions

Organise around the work and operate more like a network

To empower your team to work more effectively & make better decisions, while freeing up resources for what matters

Reconnect with the evolving nature of your role

To grow as a leader and create the conditions for yourself, your team, and your whole organisation to thrive

The COPE Approach

COPE partners together with full teams who build their key collective capabilities as part of a multi-week journey that alternates between two distinct rhythms: team retreats and embedded practice.

embedded practice
Team retreats

Team retreats

Outside of your working environment (1-3 days)

  • Dedicated space and time, designed to build capabilities through immersive experiences rather than conceptual learning.
  • Your full team comes together to renew their shared understanding of the rapidly-evolving context, broaden their perspectives, and continue to build their collective capacity to address challenges while growing as a team.
Embedded practice

Embedded practice

Directly in your working environment (3-4 months)

  • Building and sustaining capabilities through practical integration “in the work”
  • Following the retreat, your team is joined by a practitioner who facilitates key sessions of your meeting rhythm, for a more seamless integration of new practices and the sustained application of new skills.

Personalised support alongside your team engagement

  • Our engagement with your team is most impactful and best sustained when combined with a close partnership with you through a series of individual sessions tailored to your needs and context. As your role evolves alongside your team’s evolution, this is your intimate, dedicated space to reflect on the challenges that are top of mind, cultivate the personal capabilities that can best enable your team to grow, and explore the leverage points that could help you catalyse meaningful change.
Leadership Programs

Leadership Programs

Building collective capabilities among leaders in your organisation

  • Sometimes, building the collective capabilities of multiple leaders across your organisation suits the more intensive, scaled approach you have in mind.
  • From a virtual opt-in training to a multi-day bootcamp all the way to an annual multi-week retreat for high potentials, we deliver leadership programs co-designed around your desired outcomes to equip current and future leaders with the specific capabilities, practices and skills they need to thrive in your context.
  • As with our team retreats, our leadership learning journeys take place outside of the working environment and are designed to build the desired capabilities through immersive experiences rather than conceptual learning.

Why this approach works

Small shifts lead to a tangible, real-time impact

Small shifts lead to a tangible, real-time impact

Away from the big, hairy transformation efforts that will lead to promised results in years down the road, we start with your immediate challenges and help you make shifts that matter right now.

Small shifts lead to a tangible, real-time impact

Change happens “in the work”

We’re not about roadmaps in PowerPoint; we’re right there with you and your team “in the work”, facilitating key sessions of your meeting rhythm, to ease the integration of key practices and capabilities designed to address the biggest pain points you’re facing.

Small shifts lead to a tangible, real-time impact

Change is built & sustained at team level

Engagements are designed to bridge the implementation gap of inspiring leadership retreats that fail to translate into tangible shifts or knowledge transfer that’s applicable to the wider team.

From our experience, real change takes time and it often happens at team, departmental or divisional level. That’s why we engage with full teams long enough to see meaningful, sustained impact.

Grounded in proven & practical methodologies

The practices and approaches we bring along form a collection of proven, open-source methodologies and frameworks that have been successfully introduced in teams, and stem from agile software development, Conscious Leadership commitmentsInner Development Goals, Holacracy, human-centered design, lean project management, Liberating StructuresPresencing InstituteSociocracy, TheDive’s Loop & Stellar approaches, and many others.

Built upon the foundations of two decades spent in, and alongside, organisations

As the founder of COPE.Consulting, Vero is herself a former leader at three Fortune 500 companies who has spent the last 20 years working in, consulting, advising or coaching leaders and teams in organisations across the most diverse sectors, sizes, and geographies. She has witnessed first-hand the conditions that lead to change efforts failing, as well as those that lead to a meaningful, sustained impact.

Small shifts lead to a tangible, real-time impact

Swiss-based, yet remote-first for a global reach

We value in-person interactions as much as we see the advantages that online interactions can provide; key moments of our engagement can take place in person, remotely, or on a hybrid basis to best suit your context.

Whether your primary business language is English, French or German, we work together in the language that feels most natural to your team, so that the additional mental load of expressing oneself in a foreign language is on us, not on you.

Small shifts lead to a tangible, real-time impact

Small & nimble, with the resources at hand to address your big needs

The practice engages with a network of agencies and practitioners who bring additional capacity, complementary expertise and who are like-minded in both practice and spirit to best serve your specific needs.

Small shifts lead to a tangible, real-time impact

Alongside you while you need it – until you don’t

Favouring a model built around long-term impact also means that our engagements are intentionally fairly priced so that you can invest the time it really takes to catalyse true, tangible change.

We’re that trustworthy partner who stays just long enough until your team can continue on their own. That’s what designing for resilience is all about.

All about Véronique

Hi, I’m Vero – describing what I do is not easy, but you could say I am a facilitator and enabler of transformative leadership and organisational practices.

In the first chapter of my professional life, I’ve spent more than a decade as employee engagement and transformation program leader at the headquarters of global technology firms ABB and Siemens, where engagement strategies around change efforts were part of my everyday.

I left the corporate world in 2020 to write the second chapter of my professional life and apply my corporate experience as a transformation partner at the boutique future-of-work consultancy The Ready, where I partnered with leaders across wide-ranging industries and geographies who aimed to work in more human, progressive ways – from environmental nonprofit in the UK to banking in France, media in Germany to regenerative agriculture in Norway, renewable energy in the US to pharmaceutical in Ireland.

Enter chapter number three: as I saw the world of work evolve into an ever more complex, fast-paced environment that left too many leaders challenged and overwhelmed, I founded this leadership practice to help MY generation of leaders thrive in complexity and meet this moment.

In short, COPE.Consulting has become the true calling that has led me HERE.

What has led you here?

Conducting Retrospectives – Leader’s Guide

Leader’s Guide to conducting Retrospectives. How teams move forward – together. When things feel stuck, uncertain, or simply ready for a shift, many leaders turn to tools, surveys, or strategies. But sometimes, the most powerful move is also the simplest: creating space to listen, reflect, and learn – as a team.

Resilient Strategy – Leader’s Guide

Leader’s Guide to resilient strategy. Setting strategy when the path ahead is uncertain. In a fast-changing, unpredictable world, strategy still matters – but how we set it must evolve. Traditional planning methods, built for predictability and control, often fail us when the terrain shifts. Leaders are left with static plans that no longer reflect reality, unclear priorities, or disengaged teams unsure of what to focus on.

Intentional Meeting Rhythm – Leader’s Guide

Leader’s Guide to intentional meeting rhythm. Turning meetings into the backbone of strategy. Meetings are where strategy takes shape – and yet, for many teams, they remain the biggest source of frustration and wasted time. Without structure and intention, meetings easily drain energy and slow work down. But designed differently, they can become the very rhythm that keeps strategy alive.
